Whiskey Mountain Trail looking towards Glacier Valley. The snow followed me down.
Summer view of Fossil Mntn.
Winter view of Fossil Mntn. I skied that.
Back Country Skiing-sorta
From the southern tip of the Wind River Range, one can see landmarks that the Oregon Trail pioneers used to navigate westward. The Trail is behind the second ridge.
This is looking north west coming up from the Big Sandy River--right on the edges of the continental divide.
Looking south-south east from the end of the Wind River Range.
The Popo Agie Falls. Training Hike 01
Popo Agie Falls, again. I played with the shutter speed to see what happens. Did it help?
Just another pic of the Popo Agie Falls.
Yet another picture of the falls, but this was on June 5th. A beautiful day!
This and the next three pictures were taken at the top of the hike. Here, I'm looking to the south over the Popo Agie.
This is looking north-west towards Lander. The trail is in the gorge on the right of the frame (not visible).
A very important site for Native Americans, Castle Gardens has petroglyphs, some with paint, that tell the story of the people that moved through the land.
Currently, the pictures here are old(ish). I'll be adding more pictures soon.
